Anyways, since a fusion probably has more potential and Gotenks was able to manage SSJin3 better than Goku does and only in a week, it's possible that SSJin3 Gotenks would stomp. mutters and facepalms self again Super Boo was not going all out until Gohan came, he basically said that, and that he was waiting for Gohan so the fight could really start. SSJ3 Gotenks wasn't overpowering Super Boo by a large margin, if he was, why were they unlocking Gohan's potential anyway?

Goku even says at one point that they might not need Gohan after all because Gotenks was kicking Buu's *****. So yeah.

SSJ3 is a potential unlocking form but doesnt have a fixed strength level. Gohans chi was reworked. The way SUper buu was getting with gotenks should be a reminder of how weak gotenks is comparably. I mean, buuicolo would whoop gotenks. Gohan>>>>super buu by a mile he had to absorb two people in order to get on gohans level. and thats all on TOP of him eating south kaioshin' eating grand kaioshin eating good buu eating piccolo eating gotenks. already on a ssj3 tier level even as original form kid buu. gotenks doesnt have a chance, minimizing how much more powerful gohan is than gotenks doesnt change the fact that he mopped the floor with someone gotenks couldnt even beat up. Not convincingly anyways. The anime made it look even worse, (or funnier depending on your perspective). In the end it was obvious buu was waiting for what he was promised, he laughed at gotenks until he got hit. But DB/Z/Gt characters all love to get beat up before they release their true power. any majin power up would have to be done to the boys individually in order for this idea to work. then they would form gotenks and go from there. Then gotenks could train in that form. But as it stands? gotenks going majin wouldnt improve his ssj3 IMO. He could stand to be more durable, in which case he could have an advantage over super buu, but hes not touching gohan, whom in reality is pretty much an ssj4 tier character.
